3. SITE UPTIME

3.1 We take all reasonable steps to ensure that this Website is available 24 hours every day, 365 days per year. However, websites do sometimes encounter downtime due to server and, other technical issues such as solar flares, attacks from as yet unknown alien civilizations, a full blown  zombie apocalypse  and mice. Therefore we will not be liable if this website is unavailable at any time. 3.2 This Website may be temporarily unavailable due to issues such as system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond our control including the people we call to sort out our technical problems getting locked in a cupboard. Where possible we will try to give our visitors advance warning of maintenance issues but shall not be obliged to do so.

Laurie Avadis Family Mediation reserves the right to terminate access to our site and block future use of our services if we deem these Terms of Use have been violated.

Complaints

It is hoped that you will never have cause to complain about my work. If you do wish to do so please put

your complaint in writing and I will respond in a maximum of 28 working days - in practice it will usually far sooner.  If that does not result in a satisfactory resolution and as a last resort you can complain to the FMC.  The complaints framework for family mediators registered with the FMC changed on 1 March 2022. From this date, complaints which would previously have been considered by my FMC Membership Organisation will now be considered by the Family Mediation Standards Board in accordance with its new complaints process.
